About Scout
Scout is a 4-month-old bundle of joy, believed to be a mix of Great Pyrenees and Australian Shepherd. This handsome 20-pound pup absolutely loves people and is a happy, typical puppy. He's already showing promise with his crate training and is a smart boy who will quickly learn the ropes of leash walking and housebreaking with a consistent routine. Scout is also fantastic with other dogs, often being the playful "rough and tumble" one, but he always socializes well. He can be tested with cats upon request. Scout is ready to travel to a community that will truly cherish him as a family member. Because we want his transition to be as smooth as possible, we arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities. Adoptions are finalized in advance so that Scout can hop off the transport and right into your waiting arms. We stand by our pups for life; in the rare event it isn't a perfect match, Scout is never without a safety net and will simply return to our care in Oklahoma on the next available transport until his perfect home is found.
Ideal Home
Scout would thrive in a home ready to guide him through his puppy milestones with patience and a consistent routine. He is young and can safely be assumed to do great with children.
Ongoing Health
Scout is already neutered and up-to-date on all essential vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPPx3, and Bordetella). He has been dewormed and is kept on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. To ensure he is in tip-top shape for his new family, he will be microchipped and receive a fresh fecal exam and a certified Health Certificate, all performed within 10 days of his transport date.
Training & Support
While he hasn't had official training on a leash or with housebreaking just yet, he is a smart boy who should learn quickly with a consistent routine.
