Meara

Meara is a wonderfully sweet senior dog who proves that age is just a number! She's playful and loves to shower her favorite humans with affection. Meara was found by Animal Control and, after her owner couldn't be located, she was flown to us from Texas. She's a house-trained lady who behaves well indoors and doesn't shed, which is a huge bonus! Meara is learning to walk nicely on leash and doesn't jump up on people, making her a joy to be around.

Ideal Home

Meara would love a home where she can continue to be showered with affection. She gets along well with other dogs, but she does have a tendency to chase cats, so a feline-free home would be best.

Ongoing Health

Meara is a senior dog. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Meara is housebroken and generally well-behaved in the house. She is currently working on walking without pulling on the leash, and she's doing a great job!

• All adults living in the household must give their consent.
• You need approval from the residence owner.
• A valid ID with a current address is required.
• You must be approved by Almost Home Foundation as a suitable adoptive home.
• Must live in the suburbs surrounding Schaumburg (Illinois Residents only).
• We accept cash, Zelle, or checks for adoption fees.

Meara is currently located in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Transport may be available to surrounding areas.
