Sasha

Sasha is a loyal and good companion who has a wealth of training. She's a dignified, brave, and protective Akita who originally came to us from a breeder in Mississippi. Her past home originally intended to get one puppy but ended up taking Sasha and her male sibling. Unfortunately, this resulted in a difficult situation where proper training wasn't undertaken, and it's suspected many improper methods were used. Sasha can be a very loyal, good companion, but she has some considerations for her to be successful in a home.

Ideal Home

Sasha needs a home where she will be the only dog. It is best if the household consists of only one or two people. It would also be best if it is a household without a lot of other people coming and going, or if there's a means to give Sasha her own space when guests are visiting. Sasha cannot live in a home with children or small animals.

Ongoing Health

Sasha is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Sasha has had significant training and will benefit from a continued understanding approach. We advise a series of meetings for the meet and greet, so potential adopters can meet her over time and visit with her trainer. She will make a great dog for someone who understands her breed and can accommodate her limitations.
