Russell

Russell is a magnificent two-year-old Great Pyrenees, embodying the classic gentle, laid-back, and incredibly friendly nature of the breed. He arrived at the shelter as a stray, but his sweet disposition and affectionate personality quickly shone through. Russell is a tall, rangy boy, weighing 80 lbs, with a beautiful golden sheen on his back. He's a joy to be around, always responsive with loving gestures and a wagging tail. He has a distinct, football-helmet-shaped head and a heart full of love to give.

Ideal Home

Russell would thrive in a home that can offer him companionship and a yard to explore. He's good with other dogs and cats, and would likely enjoy having a canine playmate to share his days with. A securely fenced yard is a must for Russell.

Ongoing Health

Russell is fully vetted, neutered, and tested negative for heartworm.

Training & Support

This smart boy is already house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. He also loves car rides and can happily travel for hours. Russell enjoys playing with toys, especially his favorite bone.
