Meet Sage, your new loyal chocolate shadow! This sweet, affectionate, and calm 6-year-old Chocolate Labrador Retriever is looking for her forever family. Sage weighs 76 pounds and was found wandering, sadly abandoned by her previous owner. Now in a foster home, she's blossomed and shown what an incredible dog she truly is. Sage is a true "Velcro dog," always wanting to be near her people. She's the perfect companion for anything you do, from working at home to camping trips, boat days, or scenic drives. She even loves car rides, though she might appreciate a little help getting in!

Ideal Home

Sage is looking for a loving family to devote herself to. She's happy to have another dog to share her life with, but she's also confident enough to be an only pet.

Ongoing Health

Sage is spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccines. She is on Credelio for flea and tick prevention and Interceptor Plus for heartworm prevention. She will receive a full vet exam and a health certificate before travel.

Training & Support

Sage is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She is gentle with cats, wonderful with children, and knows several commands. She'll even alert you to visitors or unusual sounds. A unique quirk of hers is an adorable chirping sound she makes when she's hoping for extra love!

Transportation

Sage is currently in Texas and can be transported to approved adopters within a 2,000-mile radius.
