Huxley

Huxley is a delightful 6-month-old Doberman who is ready to explore the world with his new family! He's currently thriving in foster care and is already a pro at many things. Huxley is kennel-trained, though he might sing a little when you're home but he knows bedtime and quiets down. He's 99% potty trained, just keep an eye out for his cues. He's also started obedience training and can sit, walk on a lead, and comes when called (most of the time). He enjoys playing with other dogs at the dog park, but we haven't had a chance to test him with cats. Huxley is a fantastic car rider, happily napping no matter how long the journey! And for those who know Dobermans, Huxley is a true gem – he doesn't mind pottying in the rain or walking on wet grass! He's a truly special boy, and we can't wait to find his forever home.

Ideal Home

A home that will embrace Huxley's Doberman spirit and continue his training and socialization. We don't know how he'd do with cats or children, so we'll need to see how he does in his new home.

Ongoing Health

Huxley is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Huxley has begun obedience training and knows basic commands like sit, walking on a lead, and coming when called. He is kennel-trained and mostly potty-trained, but he will need continued reinforcement to ensure success.
