Babe Ruth is a sweet, cuddly boy who wants nothing more than love and affection. His story didn't start the way it should have; he was rescued from a large hoarding situation where he was kept outside in a crate without a proper bottom. Despite that rough beginning, Babe Ruth has held onto the kindest, most loving spirit. He is the definition of a gentle love bug. He adores being close to his people, whether that's curling up for snuggles, resting his head on your lap, or quietly following you around the house just to be near you. With that sweet face and gentle spirit, he radiates calmness, which rescue volunteers have found it calms them. We also believe he'd be great with kids and cats based on his consistent calm, unreactive demeanor; he'd be a great fit as an ESA dog. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a heart as big as his name, Babe Ruth is ready to hit a home run straight into your family.

Transporation
Babe Ruth is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can go to your state or a neighboring state. Pickup locations of transported dogs may vary, including to nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
