Training & Support

As with all shelter animals, it is recommended that Spotty Harper Woods Dog receive continued potty training and house manners reinforcement.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Applicants must be 21+ years old and live within a 100-mile radius of our shelter at 22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089.
• You must identify at least 1 animal that you are interested in.
• Once your application is received, it will be assigned to one of our volunteer Adoption Counselors who will follow-up with the applicant who is the best fit within a few days, or to discuss other options.
• Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only, 30 minutes per appointment. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present for the appointment. (Note: Please do not bring your dogs if you are meeting cats!). The introductions will take place outside in our parking lot (or in our cat room if you're meeting cats).
• We will perform vet checks for current and prior pets in the household.
• Finalizing the adoption will also be scheduled by appointment.

Spotty Harper Woods Dog is located at our Warren, MI shelter. We do not offer transportation services.
