CIDER-Sweet Singer

Meet Cider, a beautiful and happy two-year-old Husky looking for a home where she can share her joyful spirit! This 42-pound girl was found as a stray and, after a brief foster stay, found herself at the Hico Animal Control Shelter. Cider has a wonderful singing voice and is great with adults and children. She's also good with most dogs, but we recommend proper introductions.

Ideal Home

Cider would thrive in a home that is cat-free, as she has a strong prey drive and will chase and try to catch cats. A fenced yard is also recommended.

Ongoing Health

Cider is up to date on all her vaccines and preventatives. She is heartworm positive, but this is a treatable condition, and her treatment will be covered.

Training & Support

Cider is leash, crate, and house-trained, and is comfortable using a doggie door. While she is trained to use a crate, she's not overly fond of it. She is currently shedding a lot due to the Texas heat.
