JONA

Jona is a 1-year-old, 52-pound Border Collie / Husky mix who has already overcome so much. He was found tied to a tree, abandoned and neglected, but despite this heartbreaking experience, Jona's spirit remains full of love and trust. When Animal Control found him, he leaned in for affection, choosing kindness even after enduring hardship. Since arriving at the shelter on January 28, 2025, Jona has impressed everyone with his friendly, playful, and social nature when interacting with other dogs. He thrives in the play yard, cherishing every moment of joy and companionship. Jona is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his rabies and DAPP vaccines. He's a healthy, young dog ready for a fresh start and a home where he can finally receive the love, activity, and stability he deserves.
