Stanley is the man

Stanley is the man! This handsome 6-year-old chocolate Lab Pittie mix is a mellow, easy-going guy who prefers to take things slow when meeting new people and furry friends. He's a sweetheart who is learning to trust the world again and is currently enjoying life in a loving foster home while he waits for his forever family. Stanley is a calm presence, even around more energetic dogs, and loves to explore. He's a fantastic traveler, enjoying road trips and beach excursions, and would love to see the world with you! He knows how to sit, is great on leash, and is a perfect car rider, often snuggling in for a peaceful nap. Stanley was a very good boy at the vet and even made friends with an 8-year-old boy who helped train him. We believe Stanley could fit into many families, though he's a little too interested in kitties. He is well-suited for apartment living due to his laid-back attitude and quiet nature, but he would also adore a yard for sunbathing and sniffaris.

Ideal Home

Stanley would love a family that can offer him patience as he continues to learn about the good people and pups in the world. He would appreciate a yard to explore, but he is also content in an apartment due to his calm demeanor. No kitties for Stanley.

Stanley is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Stanley is already doing great with leash walking and knows how to sit. He's a perfect car rider and enjoys training sessions.

Transportation

Stanley is currently in Texas and can be transported to various locations across the US, including WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, and VT. Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA, or Brattleboro, VT. Transport is available via our USDA licensed vehicles with 24/7 care. An additional $87 surcharge for transport will apply.
