Michelle

Michelle is a truly special girl who was rescued from a kill shelter outside of Houston. Her owners surrendered her and her sister, leaving her confused and defeated. Thankfully, a foster family stepped in and discovered Michelle is pure perfection! She's a relaxed Cattle Dog who loves comfort and cuddles more than high-intensity activity, though she does enjoy walks and some outdoor fun. Michelle is house-trained and doesn't need a kennel, as she's not destructive and happily sleeps on her bed all night. Her only requirements for a forever home are a plush donut bed and a spot on the couch next to her human. She has been fostered with dogs and children and loves them all, showing no signs of aggression. Michelle is estimated to be 6-8 years old and weighs about 40 lbs. She is currently finishing her heartworm treatment and will be ready to travel to her new home in mid-August. Michelle is the easiest and most loving dog you'll ever meet; adopting her is like hitting the rescue dog jackpot!

Ideal Home

Michelle would love a home with a plush donut bed and a spot on the couch next to her favorite person. She enjoys the company of both dogs and children.

Ongoing Health

Michelle is finishing her heartworm treatment. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and up-to-date on prevention.

Training & Support

Michelle is house-trained and has shown no destructive behaviors.
