Buster and King Louie

Howdy! We're Buster and King Louie, a bonded pair of young, energetic, and lovable dachshund brothers. We came to Dakota Dachshund Rescue when our family could no longer care for us. We love to run, chase, play, and wrestle with each other! When we're tired, we also love to snuggle up with our humans. King Louie is a bit of a mischievous one, always trying to get beyond the gate to be with his people – he thinks he can fly! We are neutered and ready to find our furever home together.

Ideal Home

We are looking for a home that can accommodate two adorable dachshund boys who love to play and snuggle.

Ongoing Health

Our adoption fee helps cover our vetting needs, which include a heartworm test, rabies vaccination, DHPPL vaccination, Bordetella vaccination, neuter surgery, and microchipping. Dental care was also addressed if needed.

Training & Support

King Louie is known for his adventurous spirit when it comes to gates and getting to his people. Continued positive reinforcement and supervision will help him understand boundaries.
