About Mora

Mora is a sweet and gentle young girl who can be a little shy and nervous at first, especially in new situations or when meeting new people. With patience, calm voices, and affection, she slowly begins to relax and reveal her loving personality. She enjoys playing with other dogs, which helps her build confidence, and she absolutely loves hugs once she feels safe. Mora and her sister Sadie were rescued after being abandoned in a planter outside a school when they were very young. She's been waiting for a loving forever home ever since!

Ideal Home

Mora would do best with a patient and loving family who understands her gentle nature and is willing to help her feel safe and secure. A home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Mora has received a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and rabies vaccines, a bordetella vaccine, has been dewormed, and microchipped. She also has a negative 4DX test, a negative heartworm test certificate, and is on monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive. She comes with a health certificate and vaccine booklet. Please note that many rescue dogs are not house-trained.

Training & Support

Mora will need patience and understanding as she adjusts to her new environment. Families with experience in dog behavior and training, or a willingness to hire a trainer, are encouraged to apply.
