Nelson - The Sweetest Love Bug

Meet Nelson! This handsome Lab mix is about 1-2 years old and is the sweetest, most polite boy you could ever hope to meet. Nelson is fully potty trained and walks beautifully on a leash. He's wonderfully well-mannered and doesn't jump when you come home. He absolutely loves other dogs, is non-reactive, and easygoing. Nelson is happiest when he's by your side, whether that's on a quiet walk, a weekend adventure, or simply relaxing at home. He's great in the car and prefers sleeping in bed with his foster, sleeping through the night with no problems.

Nelson's story is one of resilience and love. Not long ago, he was abandoned and left to survive on the streets of Puerto Rico. Despite everything he's been through, he has never stopped believing in people. Instead of fear, he chose love. Instead of giving up, he embraced every chance at a better life. Now he's discovering what it means to be safe, cared for, and cherished. He's ready for the one thing he's still waiting for: a family to call his own.
