Bailey Bob

Bailey Bob is a sweet and loving 13 lb. Shih Tzu mix, approximately 5 years old. He was rescued from a high-risk shelter in South Texas. Bailey Bob has a neurological injury that has affected his vision and can sometimes cause him to walk in circles, but he has made incredible progress in adapting to his new life. He's very affectionate with those he knows and forms strong bonds with his caretakers. Bailey Bob enjoys sunbathing, listening to music, and playing with toys. While he uses a potty pad sometimes, he does best when taken outside. He also uses a belly band indoors as he has a tendency to mark, but he understands the word "no."

Ideal Home

Bailey Bob would thrive in an adult-only home as the only dog, or with another dog who can simply ignore him. He would not be suitable for an apartment due to his vocal nature and cannot be walked on a leash.

Bailey Bob has a neurological injury that affects his vision and gait.

Training & Support

Bailey Bob needs continued positive reinforcement for house training and marking behavior. He responds well to verbal cues like "no."
