Mary

Meet Mary, a resilient adult female Greyhound with a brindle and white coat. Mary has overcome a difficult past, showing signs of previous abuse. It has taken time for her to learn to trust people, but with patience and care, she has made incredible progress. In the year and a half she's been with us, she has blossomed and now thrives in the company of our pack of eight dogs. While she may initially be a little reserved, she has shown that she can easily accept new people once she feels comfortable. She's a true survivor and is looking for someone who can appreciate her journey and offer her the stable, loving home she deserves.

Ideal Home

Mary needs an experienced handler who can provide her with a secure environment. A fenced-in yard is a must for her to safely explore and exercise. She would be happy with another dog, but she is also content being the sole canine companion in the home.

Ongoing Health

Mary is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. She is in good health and ready for her forever home.

Training & Support

Due to her past, Mary takes time to trust. An adopter with experience handling dogs who have overcome trauma will be best suited for her. Patience and understanding will be key to helping her continue to build confidence.

Transporation

Mary is currently located in Puerto Rico. Once adopted, she will be flown to Newark, NJ, where you will meet her for pickup.
