Hello, I'm Mocha! I'm an adorable puppy with a brindle coat and lots of white markings, including a little white tip on my tail that curls. My foster mom says I'm very pretty! I love to be with my people and the other foster dog in the house, often following my foster mom around or curling up by her while she works from home. I'm working on potty training and have a great teacher in the other foster dog. While I still need to go out frequently due to my size, I haven't had any recent accidents and I'm catching on quickly. I'm also learning that my kennel can be a safe space and am settling in more each day. At night, I mostly sleep in my kennel, though sometimes I get to snuggle with my foster mom after an early morning potty break. I already know how to sit and play fetch, and I'm learning to "leave it" and walk nicely on a leash, though I get easily distracted by interesting smells. Since I'm still young, obedience training would be beneficial, and I'm eager to learn and bond with my new family through it. I love praise and will do tricks for treats! I haven't met any children yet, but I'm sure I'd love them. I can be a little mouthy with my sharp puppy teeth, and I'm learning boundaries with my foster sister, a 2-year-old female who I look up to and enjoy playing with. I love chasing blowing leaves, my foster sister, and playing fetch with my penguin ball, always bringing it back to my foster mom. I'm also good at checking in with her as I explore the yard. I love to play hard and go for walks to burn energy so I can then enjoy cuddles and naps.
Ideal Home
I would love to live with an active family that will channel my energy with activities like playing fetch and going for walks. I love people being around and since I am learning to be crate trained, I would love a family that is home to take me out regularly.
