Brutus

Brutus is a handsome 4-5 year old Belgian Malinois/Shepherd type mixed breed weighing in at approximately 40-45 pounds. He's an energetic and eager-to-please boy who arrived to rescue after being saved from a local pound that was facing overcrowding. Brutus knows some basic obedience and walks well on a leash, but his true joy comes from physical and mental stimulation. He thrives on multiple daily walks, loves to run in the yard, and has the drive and athletic ability to excel in dog sports. When his energy needs are met, he's also a happy couch potato, enjoying a good TV show session!

Ideal Home

Brutus would do best in a home that can provide him with ample opportunities for exercise and mental engagement. He gets along well with other dogs, particularly those with calm and steady personalities. While he's great with people and doesn't mind children of all ages, he unfortunately cannot live with cats as he will chase them.

Ongoing Health

Brutus has been vet checked, is up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm. He has also been neutered and is current on his flea, tick, heartworm, and deworming preventatives.

Training & Support

Brutus is kennel trained and house trained. He has a high energy drive and benefits greatly from meeting his exercise needs to be a happy and relaxed companion.
