Say hello to William, a 5-year-old, 85-pound, Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix. If you’re looking for a dog who thinks people are the absolute best thing since rotisserie chicken, this big white fluff is your guy. At five years old, he has perfected the art of leaning into you for maximum petting. If adoration were an Olympic sport, he’d be bringing home the gold. He’s not interested in sharing his fan club and needs to be the only dog in the home, though he does love going to the dog park to play with other dogs. Until recently, William had been fine with cats, but he has decided they are not OK now, so he will need a no-cat home. William is a lovely, sweet dog who is a flock guardian to the bone, but he just does not happen to have sheep at his disposal to oversee.

Ideal Home

William will do best in a home with an owner experienced with flock guardian dogs and no children under the age of 18. A securely fenced yard is non-negotiable, as he will roam the perimeter he decides is his without a fence.
