Matty

Matty is a petite package of about 29 lbs and is 5-6 months old. He's sharing a foster home with his twin sister and they are having a great time with other dogs and being introduced to cats. While they are curious about the cats, they do tend to want to chase them and are not afraid! Matty is a bit more cautious with new people but enjoys everything, which is extra special considering he was so frightened at the shelter. Based on a photo scan, he might be a mix of Carolina Dog and Kelpie, but we can't be sure. He and his sister are definitely on the smaller to medium size and look very sharp. They are also pretty much house-trained with regular breaks.

Ideal Home

Matty is doing well with introductions to cats, but does tend to want to chase them. Families with young children must have fenced yards to prevent accidental escapes, especially in cities or suburbs.

Ongoing Health

Matty has been spayed and vetted.

Training & Support

Matty is generally well-behaved and is working on his confidence with new people. He is also doing well with house-training.
