About Minnie

Meet Minnie – the sweetest little meatball looking for her happy ending! If love came wrapped in a 100-pound American Bully with wiggly hips, floppy jowls, two different colored eyes, and a toy in her mouth, you'd have Minnie.

At around 3 years old, Minnie has a history that would make anyone's heart ache. She and her sister were kept as junkyard dogs, and after an injury, Minnie ended up at a shelter while her sister remained behind. Despite this difficult start, Minnie has maintained an incredible ability to trust and love. Her current family rescued her, nursed her back to health from kennel cough, and patiently showed her what it means to be safe, cherished, and part of a family. Witnessing her transformation into the happy, goofy girl she is today has been truly rewarding.

Minnie is the ultimate cuddle bug. She follows her people from room to room, adores sleeping in bed, loves giving morning kisses, and believes personal space is a highly overrated concept. She'll happily spend the afternoon sunbathing on the deck, then surprise everyone with joyful evening zoomies before settling in with her favorite toy. You can always tell where she's been by the adorable trail of half-shredded toys she leaves behind as she carefully selects her treasures. When her people come home, get ready for full-body wiggles and proud toy presentations, as if she's offering you the greatest gift in the world.

Ideal Home

Minnie would thrive in a quieter home with a fenced yard and someone who is home for much of the day. She cannot live with cats or other small animals.

Ongoing Health

Minnie has recovered from kennel cough.

Training & Support

Minnie is house-trained and knows several commands. She loves brushing her teeth and enjoys car rides. She isn't a fan of being crated or confined, and loud, chaotic homes can make her anxious.
