Meet Rosie! This sweet 8-month-old, 65-pound Great Pyrenees mix has a gentle heart, a playful spirit, and so much love waiting to be shared. Rosie can be a little timid when meeting new people, but with a little patience and kindness, she blossoms into an incredibly affectionate companion. Once she knows she's safe, Rosie loves nothing more than cuddling up with her people and soaking up all the love she can get.
Rosie absolutely adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident canine companion to help show her the ropes and continue building her confidence. Having a dog friend by her side helps her feel comfortable and brings out her playful personality. Speaking of playtime, Rosie is obsessed with toys! Give her a basket full of toys, and she'll be one happy girl. After she's finished playing, you'll often find her snoozing on her back in the cutest positions or snuggled up beside her favorite humans. Rosie is potty trained and crate trained, though it's not her favorite place. Fortunately, she's non-destructive and does well being left out of the crate when appropriate. She has not been around children in her foster home, but with her gentle personality, we think she would do well with older children who understand the importance of letting a shy dog warm up at her own pace.

Rosie is looking for a patient family who will see past her timid first impression and give her the chance to show what an incredible dog she truly is. She would do well with older children and would love to have a confident canine companion to help her feel comfortable. A home with cats would also be a good fit!
