I’ve gotten very comfortable with my foster family, and now I’m even starting to come out of my shell with new people within just a few minutes of meeting them! The trick is to let me come to you on my own so I know I can feel safe around you. I love cuddles once I know I’m safe, and I’m looking for humans who will give me a little patience and understanding while I adjust. I promise I am so worth it. Did I mention I LOVE to play ball?? Yep, fetch is the next best thing to food and treats in my world. I retrieve and drop it for you, I'll sit and wait till your ready to throw it again, and if you forget, I'll give you a gentle "woof" to remind you I'm waiting. We can do that all day if you have time, I won't mind! I’ve also learned to love walks and I’m a total pro now! Ideal Home
I’d do best with another canine friend, big or small, to play with and help me feel confident. I’m also good with dog-savvy cats! I do like to chase them, but I listen when they put their foot down. I’m not trying to hurt them — I just think everyone might want to play. I would do best with teens rather than young kids, as I can still be unsure at times. A fenced yard is still a must for me so I have a safe place to play, because while walks are great, fetch is still my absolute favourite.
