About Jack

Jack is a playful pup with a heart full of love! He was transferred to us from another facility and spent some time in foster care with his siblings, where he learned to be big and strong. His foster family affectionately nicknamed him "Jack-Jack" for his enthusiastic "Jack attacks," which are full-speed greetings filled with kisses and playful plows into his siblings. Jack is a total snuggle bug and is already doing well with leash training. He's demonstrated he's great with big dogs, cats, and toddlers, and generally gets along with everyone. One thing to note is that he can become vocal when he's no longer seeking attention.

Ideal Home

Jack has done well with older and younger children, as well as dogs, cats, and exotic animals. Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended when bringing a new animal into the home.

Ongoing Health

No specific health concerns are mentioned.

Training & Support

Jack is doing well with leash training. Patient and consistent training using treats is a good way to work on obedience cues. We recommend asking a TCHS staff member for tips on how to ease the transition of a new pet into your home. Jack would love to have durable toys to chew on to keep him entertained.
