Soy is a charming and sweet 7-month-old, 30 lb puppy who is a little shy at first but blossoms into a loving shadow once she feels safe. She has a clear voice and will let you know her feelings, and she loves to lean on her humans and sleep in their bed. Soy is a professional leaf chaser with high energy and would love to join your family!
Ideal Home
Soy thrives in the company of other dogs and needs a canine sibling to provide her with emotional support and play. She's indifferent to cats but doesn't have experience living with them. She needs adopters who are patient and won't force affection on her during initial meetings. She also needs a home where she won't be left alone for long periods, ideally with someone who works from home. An active family who enjoys daily walks and doesn't mind a velcro dog is a great fit.
Ongoing Health
Soy is a healthy, happy girl who has fully recovered from past illnesses. She needs regular ear cleaning as one ear tends to get waxy. She eats very quickly and tends to swallow her food whole, so a slow-feeder bowl is important. Bath time is going well, though she can get shaky if baths are too long, and she's still learning that the hairdryer isn't a monster.
Training & Support
Soy is 100% potty trained and uses pads indoors or prefers outdoors in homes with yards. She is anxious and barks when left alone, so a multi-dog home is a must for her. She is currently teething and loves to shred tissues and steal snacks. Loud noises and big gestures can easily spook her, so she needs a patient home that uses positive reinforcement. She loves two 30-minute walks a day and enjoys hunting, chasing leaves, and playing zoomies. She shivers in cold weather and asks to be carried. She is improving with motion sickness during car rides and travels best with a bed to lean on.

Transporation
Soy is currently in a foster home in South Korea and will fly to the US once a match is found. A two-week trial and monitoring are provided for all approved applicants.
