Evangeline is a beautiful young German Shepherd mix with a heart of gold and a loyal spirit, ready to be your new best friend! She's under a year old, making her a playful puppy full of love to give. Evangeline is incredibly gentle and eager to please, shining brightest when she's by your side or with another canine friend. She's a dream on leash, walking politely without pulling, and she greets everyone she meets with enthusiasm.

Ideal Home

Evangeline would thrive in a home where she can be part of the family. Due to past experiences, she can become anxious when left alone, though she's making great progress in managing this. A home where someone is around more often or where she can have a canine companion would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Evangeline arrived underweight but is now happily gaining and enjoying regular meals. She's still growing into her paws, so expect a little more filling out! She was a superstar during bath time.

Training & Support

Evangeline is a smart and sensitive girl who truly wants to do her best. While she used to bark when left alone, she's now down to just a few "see you soon" barks in foster care. Despite previous reports, she hasn't chewed any furniture, toys, or beds. With love, patience, and consistency, she will continue to blossom into a devoted companion. She has shown no concern for the barn cat she has seen, though she has not been loose with cats.
