Posie is a 3-month-old fluff ball, weighing in at 21 pounds. She appears to be a Golden Retriever mix, a guess based on her beautiful mama and her own sweet looks. Posie has been raised in a loving home environment and has learned that life is full of play and good manners. She's already a pro with the doggy door, happily shares her toys and treats, and has a wonderfully calm and easygoing personality. Her foster dad ensures she gets plenty of playtime, affection, and positive socialization every evening.

Posie loves her stuffed toys and enjoys exploring. She met a senior female pitbull and a small terrier with inquisitive but respectful curiosity. Posie is a treat-lover but will not guard them from other dogs or people. Her mama has the gentle, loving temperament Golden Retrievers are known for, and it's clear these puppies have inherited it all. She has done a fantastic job teaching her puppies essential skills and social cues. Posie has been raised alongside a large male German Shepherd and a 7-month-old baby, giving her an incredible foundation for family life. When first meeting her, it was noticeable that she didn't jump on or nip at children. Posie is affectionate without being overwhelming, curious without being wild, and remarkably quiet. She'd much rather cuddle, trot around the yard, or gnaw on a toy than bark for attention. Her fluffy coat and sweet personality are impossible to resist. Whether chasing a toy, enjoying belly rubs, or following you around, Posie simply wants to be part of your life.

She is bright, eager to please, and wonderfully receptive to guidance, making raising her an exciting prospect. Ongoing Health

Posie is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP vaccinations, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple deworming treatments, and flea prevention. She will also receive a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Posie has already shown herself to be bright, eager to please, and wonderfully receptive to guidance. She has been introduced to crate training, potty training, and leash walking.

Transporation

Posie is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
