Coal is a friendly, playful, and energetic young boy with a curious spirit! He's athletic and loves his walks and trips to the park. We estimate he's about 5 years old, and he's eager to find his forever family after being saved from the Borger, Texas pound. Coal is a loving and loyal companion who would be a wonderful addition to many homes.
Ideal Home
Coal would do best in a home where he can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He's dog-selective, meaning he needs to meet potential canine siblings slowly and on his terms.
Ongoing Health
Coal is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations (rabies, 4 parvo/distemper boosters, and Bordetella), and has a negative heartworm test and fecal exam. He also comes with a health certificate and a registered microchip.
Training & Support
Coal is crate-trained and does well with other dogs once introductions are made properly.

Coal is currently fostered in Texas but can be transported across the country through our transport program. Drop-off locations include:

The adoption fee is $500, which includes his neuter, vaccinations, tests, health certificate, microchip, and transport costs. Adoption interviews and meet-and-greets will take place via video call. The application and fee must be finalized before you receive your dog.
