Valentina

Valentina is a sweet, intelligent, and loyal 3-year-old German Shepherd who is looking for an active and committed home. Her favorite activities include walking and swimming, and regular exercise helps her feel happy, calm, and relaxed. She would thrive with a person or family who will include her in their daily life and provide plenty of physical activity and enrichment. Valentina does well with children and adults, though like many German Shepherds, she may bark when delivery drivers or unfamiliar visitors arrive. She does have a prey drive and enjoys chasing small critters, so a cat-free home may be the safest fit. Valentina can do well with other dogs, but she will need a proper introduction and plenty of time and space to acclimate. She is accustomed to being the only dog in her home, though she has played appropriately with other dogs once she feels comfortable. German Shepherd or similar breed experience is preferred, or adopters should be prepared to research the breed and understand their exercise, training, and enrichment needs. Valentina is ready for a stable, loving forever home where she can be an important part of the family.
