REX, a.k.a Rexie the Bestie, a volunteer FAV

Rex, affectionately known as Rexie the Bestie, is a 68lb Black Lab mix with an estimated birthday in September 2020. He's a bubbly, outgoing boy who loves to play, enjoys sitting for treats, and thrives on human companionship. Rex is a true snuggler, often thinking he's a lap dog despite his nearly 70lb frame, and he readily offers guaranteed kisses. He's a volunteer favorite, known for his sweet nature and ability to easily charm his way into a comforting lap. Rex was rescued as a stray and has overcome a difficult past, making him eager to find a loving and trustworthy forever home where he can share all his affection. He has a proven track record at adoption events, demonstrating his sweet and happy demeanor in various social settings, including a local bar and dog-friendly restaurants.

Ideal Home

Rex is a social butterfly who enjoys being around people. He's dog selective but friendly with female dogs and can get along with male dogs with proper introductions.

Ongoing Health

Rex is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Rex is kennel and potty trained. He's eager to please and will undoubtedly continue to be a well-behaved companion.

Transporation

Rex is located in Houston, TX. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. Pickup locations may vary, and adopters will be able to track the transport van using the Life360 app and receive updates.
