Chiquita

Chiquita is a beautiful 2.5-year-old Husky cross with striking coloring and caramel eyes, ready to leave her tough start in life behind. She was found as a puppy with her mother and siblings surviving on scraps, endured a hurricane, and has been living at the SPCA PV sanctuary. Chiquita loves to snuggle and will melt for belly rubs from visitors, eager to experience life with a loving family. She enjoys playing with puppies and getting their youthful energy. Chiquita can be a bit particular about which dogs she gets along with, so a home where she can be the only canine companion would be ideal. She has been happy meeting cats, though she can get a little excited around them. Due to her past, Chiquita hasn't had much exposure to children or large crowds, and given her size, a home outside of a busy city would be best. She weighs 55 lbs.

Ideal Home

Chiquita would thrive in a cooler climate, perhaps with outdoor space, as Mexico can be quite warm for a Husky mix. A home without other dogs would be ideal, and a location outside of a big city would be preferred.

Ongoing Health

Chiquita is spayed, vaccinated, and in good health.

Training & Support

Chiquita has had limited exposure to children or large crowds. She can be a bit excited around cats.
