Delilah

Delilah is a sweet, approximately 5-month-old Black Labrador Retriever mix with a heart full of love to give. She can be a little shy when she first meets new people or experiences new places, but with a calm and loving environment, she quickly warms up. Once she's comfortable, she's incredibly affectionate and enjoys cuddling close, even if she's not a fan of being picked up. She's already shown herself to be gentle and playful with a resident puppy and cats, and she adores children, doing wonderfully with a 7-year-old. Potty training is progressing well; she can be encouraged to go outside when carried, and she's also using potty pads independently. She's becoming more at ease with new people and enjoys being a part of the family, even handling her first bath like a champ!

Ideal Home

Delilah would thrive in a patient home that can help build her confidence. She is still a bit nervous about car rides and new environments, so a home willing to work on these fears at her pace is ideal.

Ongoing Health

Delilah has been spayed and vaccinated and is ready for adoption to finish her vetting.

Training & Support

Potty training is going well, with Delilah using potty pads and sometimes going outside on her own. She needs continued patience as she builds confidence with new experiences like car rides.
