Everyone welcome handsome boy Stanley! Stanley is the man! This fabulous boy appears to be a chocolate lab pittie mix of some sort. We believe he is 6 years old, so he's a pretty mellow easy-going guy. Stanley is a slow burn; he prefers to take things slow when meeting new people and doggy friends. He is a sweetheart, and he is still just learning that there are nice people and pups in the world. Stanley is currently in a loving foster home while he waits for his forever family. Could that be you? Stanley was a super sweet boy when introduced to dogs here at the rescue. He gave some polite sniffs but ultimately wanted to mosey around the yard and sniff. Stanley was bringing a calmness to the yard even with crazy zoomie doggies; he was a good balance, and we loved watching him explore. Speaking of exploring, Stanley often goes on explorations with his foster family, taking road trips and going to the beach! He loves the beach—smelling the salty air and feeling the sand in his paws. Stanley would enjoy getting to see the world with you, if you'll have him, of course.
Ideal Home
Stanley believes he could fit into any family and would love a yard to sunbathe and go on sniffaris. He might be a good fit for apartment living due to his laid-back attitude and quietness. No kitties for this fellow, as he's a little too interested.
Ongoing Health
Stanley is a healthy boy and has been vetted.
Training & Support
Stanley knows how to sit, is great on leash, and is the perfect car rider, often snuggling in the back and sleeping peacefully. He was a very good boy at the vet and even met an 8-year-old friend who he let train him by sitting patiently for treats.
