Hi there! My name is Pookie! I'm about 9 months old and weigh around 28 lbs. I'm a sweet and curious pup, though I can be a little shy when we first meet. I'm eager to find my forever home and hope you'll consider giving me a chance to be your new best friend!

Ideal Home

I'm still getting to know myself and the people around me, so a patient and understanding home would be wonderful. If you have kids or other dogs, they'll need to come meet me first to make sure we're a good fit!

Ongoing Health

I've received my DAPPL, Rabies, and Bordatella vaccines, and I'm microchipped and licensed. You'll need to take me to your vet within two weeks of adoption for a check-up, and I might need follow-up boosters.

Training & Support

The staff and volunteers are still learning about me, so I'm looking for a home that can help me blossom. We're not sure about house training or my history, so patience and positive reinforcement will be key!
