Chip is a 2-year-old, neutered male, 60 lb Pit bull mix who is as sweet as a chocolate chip cookie! He's a playful, curious, and loving boy looking for an experienced adopter who can provide patience, safety, and endless love. Chip is a certified lover boy who loves to cuddle and will be your shadow everywhere you go. While he can be a bit cautious when meeting new people, once he trusts you, he'll be your best friend forever!
Chip adores his people, loves going on sniffing walks (and does well on the leash), is crate-trained and potty-trained, and enjoys being outdoors. He's also the king of costumes and can rock any outfit! He has done well with his foster dog siblings, who are calm and enjoy his play style. Chip LOVES to play, so we highly recommend slow introductions to other dogs and think he would do best with more calm/submissive doggy siblings. He would also do well as an only dog if he could go on outings. Chip does ask that he not live with any cats.
Ideal Home
Chip would thrive with a family that enjoys having him as their right-hand man and understands that he can be anxious when left alone, though he is working on his separation anxiety and can be crated. He would love a family that can keep up with his training and would be happy to work with him. He would also do well in a home with older children. Chip requests a home without cats.

Transportation
Chip is currently in a foster home in Houston, Texas. He can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is lined up. Transports run every few weeks, and we will have Chip on the next available transport once approved.
