Vanna is an approximately 4-year-old German Shepherd mix who is spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find her forever family. With her big heart, playful spirit, and loyal nature, Vanna is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds with her people and wants nothing more than to be part of their everyday life. A true Velcro dog, Vanna loves being close to her humans. Whether you're relaxing at home, heading out for a walk, or taking a road trip, she's happiest right by your side. She enjoys playing fetch, loves car rides, and has a wonderful medium energy level that makes her a great companion for both adventures and downtime. She's also been trusted to free roam in her foster home and has proven to be respectful and non-destructive. Vanna has lived successfully with dog-savvy cats. When meeting new people, Vanna can be a little reserved at first, preferring to take her time getting comfortable. Once she feels secure, her affectionate and devoted personality shines through. She has also been around young children and was appropriate, though she seemed more comfortable observing from a distance rather than actively interacting. Vanna is a loving, loyal companion looking for someone who will appreciate her devotion and give her the stability she deserves.
Ideal Home
Vanna prefers a home without other dogs, though she gets along with them outside of the house. She may be happiest in a home with older children or dog-savvy kids who can respect her space and allow her to warm up at her own pace.
Ongoing Health
Vanna is spayed and vaccinated.
Training & Support
Vanna thrives with structure, consistency, and clear expectations. She is crate trained and continues to make progress with her leash skills and overall confidence. She can be protective of valued resources such as food, toys, and attention, so she will do best with an adopter who is committed to providing continued guidance and reinforcing good habits.
