Chop Chop

Chop Chop is a special pup who came to us from the local city shelter. His larger size and boundless energy made finding him a home challenging, but we knew he had something special to offer—and we were right. With his big, blocky head, powerful presence, and an even bigger heart, Chop Chop is now ready for a forever home that can match his strength and return his love tenfold. He loves companionship, enjoys his short walks, lounging in the sun, and splashing in the pool.

Ideal Home

Chop Chop should be the only dog in the home. While he can walk calmly near other dogs, he can become reactive with other dogs. He also has a high prey drive and should not live with cats, or other small animals—he will chase wildlife if given the chance. He’s been thriving in the mountains with his foster mom and has really settled into a routine that works beautifully for him. We believe a similar environment—a quieter setting with a secure yard—would be ideal. Chop Chop does best with consistency, structure, and a person who’s willing to continue his training and help him be the best version of himself. He has experience around kids, but due to his size and strength, a home with children 16 or older is best.

Ongoing Health

Diagnosed with arthritis at a young age, Chop Chop needs someone who understands that while he’s doing well now, future issues are possible. Thanks to a healthy diet, regular exercise, and dedicated care from his foster mom, he’s currently active, comfortable, and happy. He’s on supplements and benefits from laser therapy, but right now, he’s living life to the fullest.
