About Lucy

Lucy is an adorable 5-year-old black Lab mix weighing 31 lbs. She is a bright, cheerful, friendly, and energetic dog who loves to run in the yard, go for walks, and explore. After plenty of exercise, she enjoys relaxing on the couch and giving face licks while you scratch her. Lucy thrives on attention and doesn't like being ignored or left out of the fun!

Ideal Home

Lucy loves to be part of the action and wants to be included in your activities. She may guard her food from other animals due to a history of neglect, so potential adopters should be prepared to feed her separately.

Ongoing Health

When Lucy was rescued, she was underweight, dehydrated, and suffering from a urinary tract infection and bladder stones. After surgery and antibiotics, she is now in excellent health. To prevent bladder stones from recurring, Lucy will need a special urinary care diet and unrestricted access to clean water.

Training & Support

Lucy has become a mealtime superstar and has quickly mastered multiple interactive food puzzles.
