Bandito

Bandito is a 3-year-old, 8lb chihuahua who has been with us for a year, undergoing a process we lovingly call 'de-spicing'. He's gone from a habanero to a poblano, and is now ready to find his forever family! Bandito used to deliver sass with every introduction, but now he's decided human strangers are pretty okay, especially if they're ready to provide treats and a warm lap. If you know the vibe of a sassy chihuahua, you know what to expect!

Ideal Home

Bandito loves to snooze on the couch with his kitty friends and would be thrilled to join a home with feline roommates. He would also do well with older children and a couple of other dogs. However, Bandito is not a fan of surprise pickups. He'll need time to trust you before he's comfortable with being lifted, but a full belly is a good first step!

Ongoing Health

Bandito is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Bandito is house-trained. He's still learning to trust humans, so patience and consistent positive reinforcement with treats will go a long way.
