Bartholomew is just a DREAM boat! This guy is everything we love about dogs - he is loyal, kind, makes a fan of everyone he meets, and is just an all around very good boy. Bart is about 7 years old, 50lbs, and the sweetest dude in town. He is as loyal and affectionate as they come. He loves all people and has made every vet and vet tech fall in love with him. He is wonderful with other dogs - he is sweet, playful, and coexists beautifully. Bart is a low energy guy who loves a laid back day consisting of couch potato life with a few spurts of energy in the backyard or on a little walk. He is fabulous in his crate and loves to choose the crate as his zen den. Bart is a low maintenance dog who is looking for someone who appreciates his chill vibe.
Ideal Home
Bart is looking for a forever home that loves a laid back lifestyle. Ideally, an area where he can sunbathe from time to time.
Ongoing Health
Bart is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and will be ready to go to his forever home in early September. He is also recovering from an FHO surgery, and has recovered beautifully, using his hind leg as he should be!
Training & Support
Bart is great on leash and loves a slow-paced walk. He is also great in the car and fabulous in his crate, which he loves to use as his zen den.

Transporation
Our dogs are fostered in Houston, TX. We work with trusted transport partners to transport our dogs to over 30 cities in the United States. Adopters are also welcome to pick up their pup in Houston. Once an adoption is confirmed, our team will work with you to determine the best transport schedule.
