Meet Gorgeous Atlas! This sweet boy was born to his stray mama on 11/14/2024 in a dangerous Texas neighborhood. Thankfully, residents did their best to care for Atlas and his siblings until rescue could step in. Atlas and his brother Grayson are the last of over 40 rescued dogs to find their forever homes, and we're not sure why – they are beautiful, super smart, affectionate, happy, and healthy boys! Atlas and his brother have been enjoying life in a foster home for several months, where they love to run in the yard, play with toys, bask in the sun and by the fireplace, and snuggle with their foster mama. Atlas is incredibly smart and food-motivated, which will make training a breeze! He's curious, goofy, gentle, playful, and a truly sweet boy. Atlas is 100% house-trained, weighs about 65lbs, knows basic commands, sleeps through the night, and is a gem of a dog. While he would love to be adopted with his brother Grayson, it's not required. He has bonded wonderfully with his foster siblings (a 100lb Lab, a 30lb beagle mix, and a 70lb pittie), showing a submissive and loving nature. We believe Atlas will bond with another dog in his new home with a slow introduction and will surely form a strong bond with his new humans! His breed is a guess, but his adorableness is 100% certain!
Ideal Home
Atlas would thrive in a home where he can continue to enjoy playtime and snuggle time. He has experience with and loves dogs of various sizes and temperaments, so he would likely do well in a home with other dogs, given a slow introduction.
Ongoing Health
Atlas is up-to-date on all necessary medical care, including neuter, vaccinations, rabies, microchip, deworming, and flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Atlas is 100% house-trained and knows basic commands, making him a well-behaved companion. His food motivation and intelligence will be a great asset in learning new things.
