Chance

Meet Chance! This precious 6-8 month old Lab mix has a harrowing story, but a heart full of love. Chance was found abandoned in a wire crate on the side of the road, likely hit by a car. He suffered from intense road rash and a severely broken front leg that sadly had to be amputated. Now, he's in a wonderful foster home, healing and showing us just how resilient and happy he is!

Chance is a friendly, affectionate, and absolutely darling boy. He loves other dogs, is incredibly food-motivated, and is eager to please. He's adjusting to life on three legs wonderfully and has learned to navigate steps to get to the yard where he loves to sniff and relax. He's doing great with kennel and house training, with only a few accidents. He enjoyed meeting his foster's young nephews and showering them with affection. He loves playing with toys, chewing on bones, and eagerly anticipates meal times. We promised Chance that the rest of his life would be the best of his life. Could you be the one to make that promise come true?

Ideal Home

A home that can offer love and patience as he continues to adjust. He enjoys the company of other dogs and is also good with children.

Ongoing Health

Chance is recovering from a leg amputation due to a previous injury. He is healing well and adapting beautifully to life on three legs.

Training & Support

Chance is doing very well with house and kennel training. He is eager to please and food-motivated, which will be a great asset in continued training.

Transporation

Chance is located in South Carolina. We provide transport to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
