Maizey

Meet Maizey, a 1.5-year-old German Shepherd/Pit Mix who is the epitome of loyal and loving! Maizey is a true "strong lover" who adores her humans and isn't afraid to show it with full-body hugs and plenty of kisses. She's a goofy, clumsy sweetheart who wants to be by your side for every adventure, from car rides to hikes. Maizey's absolute favorite things include anything wet or frozen – she loves playing in the hose, frolicking in the snow, and enjoying ice cubes as a treat. She also thrives on playtime and bonding with her people, and her "puppy plus" energy means she needs an active home. Maizey would do best with a canine companion who can keep up with her playful spirit.

Ideal Home

Maizey would love a fenced-in backyard, but an active lifestyle with plenty of walks and adventures will also make her happy. Because she can get a little clumsy when excited, she needs a home without small children to prevent any accidental tumbles.

Ongoing Health

Maizey is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations. She has also been tested for heartworm and is on prevention, as well as receiving flea/tick and dewormer treatment.

Training & Support

Maizey is an enthusiastic dog who needs an outlet for her energy. She thrives on being included in family activities and will do best in a home that provides plenty of bonding through play and exercise.
