BETTINA

Meet Bettina, a 2-year-old Border Collie mix who is a sunshine-in-progress! Bettina starts off shy around people, but with a little time, a soft voice, and a safe space, she'll begin to warm up. Her kennel is her cozy corner where she feels safe and practices being brave. When she sees other dogs, however, her playful and silly puppy side shines through! She is backyard-friendly and happiest with space to explore. Leash walking is a work in progress, but with patience and love, she will learn. Her tail is a great indicator of her mood: tucked low means nerves, peeking out and swaying means she's warming up, and held high and wagging proudly means she's in full sunshine mode!

Bettina needs a family with warm hearts and gentle voices who will give her time to bloom. She would thrive with a confident dog sibling to show her the ropes.
