Chava

Say hello to Chava! This sweet boy almost didn't make it off the urgent list due to his heartworm status, but luckily he found an awesome foster family that was willing to see him through treatment. Now that he finally has medical clearance from the vet, this pint-sized pup is ready to find his happily ever after.

Chava hits that sweet spot at around 6 years old. There is no puppy chaos with this boy. He is happy to accompany his humans on errands, walks, or a trip to the couch. Chava is extremely laid back; he can hang with other pups, humans, or even felines. It seems as though he must have lived in a home at some point, as he has basic knowledge of house skills and manners. Chava weighs in at about 20lbs and is listed as a Schipperke mix, but we think there may be a little cattle dog in there too. If you are looking for a wonderful companion pup, give Chava a try!

Ideal Home

Chava is a very laid-back boy who enjoys accompanying his humans on errands, walks, or simply relaxing on the couch. He does well with other dogs, cats, and people.

Ongoing Health

Chava has successfully completed heartworm treatment and has received medical clearance from the vet.
