Mira was rescued from deplorable conditions in Florida, but her sweet nature and eagerness to live a full life shine through. She can be a little shy at first, but with a patient and loving touch, she warms up beautifully. Mira has a special connection with children and finds comfort in their presence, though she sometimes needs a reminder of this bond. She's a curious explorer who loves to investigate everything, so a watchful eye is definitely needed! Mira is also quite agile and cat-like, capable of getting into all sorts of places, so keeping her safe and secure is a priority. She enjoys the company of other dogs and absolutely needs to have canine companions in her new home to help her feel confident and continue her journey as a well-adjusted house dog. While Mira is doing well with pottying outside, a few accidents may still happen as she continues to learn.
Ideal Home
Mira would thrive in a home where she can continue to build trust and confidence. She absolutely needs to be in a home with at least one other dog to help her feel secure. Her inquisitive nature means she needs a watchful eye to ensure her safety.
Ongoing Health
Mira is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and has been spayed. As part of her adoption fee, she has received a wellness visit and is microchipped.
Training & Support
Mira is still learning to fully trust humans and will need continued patience and positive reinforcement. She can be protective of food around other pets, so managing her environment around meal times is important. Ongoing potty training may be needed.
