Meet Peyton! Peyton is a lovely 4-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix who has been with us for a few weeks, undergoing evaluation for her future adoption. As a proud guardian breed, she has a protective nature and would be happiest in an adult-only home where she can be the only dog. We've been working on her socialization in playgroups, and while she found our resident cat a bit intimidating, we believe with the right guidance, she can continue to blossom. Peyton would do best with an experienced owner familiar with guardian breeds.

- She is impeccably potty trained and a very clean, non-destructive housemate.
- Ball is life – she absolutely loves to play fetch!
- She's a fantastic walking companion.
- She has a sweet habit of jumping up for kisses, which we are working to redirect.

- Water is her happy place – she loves to splash around!
Ideal Home
Peyton would thrive in an adult-only home with an experienced owner who understands guardian breeds. She needs to be the only dog in the household. A large backyard would be ideal for her to explore and enjoy.

Training & Support
We are working on redirecting her habit of jumping up for kisses. An experienced owner will be key to helping her continue to build confidence and manage her guardian breed tendencies.
