Meet Skipper! If you're looking for a sporty and energetic dog to match your active lifestyle, look no further than our wonderful Skipper! Skipper came to us a little over two years ago with trauma to her front leg, which has since been amputated. She has fully healed and has blossomed into a dog with a unique personality and a heart of gold for those she trusts.

Skipper is a beautiful black and white pup and a proud tripod! Her favorite game is fetch, and she's the perfect companion for anyone who loves baseball or softball. She can play for hours, but once she's tired, Skipper reveals her cuddly side and loves to snuggle up close to her people.

Ideal Home

Skipper would do best as the only pet in the home, as she is not good with other dogs or cats. She may need some extra time to warm up to new people due to past experiences, but treats and a game of fetch will help her feel comfortable.

Ongoing Health

Skipper has fully healed from her leg amputation.

Training & Support

Skipper is learning basic commands like "sit," "down," and "leave it." She is still working on leash manners but does outstanding with a head halter. She responds well to treats and positive redirection for pulling.
