Pixie

Pixie is one of nine small, defenseless puppies who were found abandoned in a vast field. Animal Control contacted us, and after a dedicated effort spanning over three weeks, we were able to rescue all of them. These brave little ones have endured a lot and are now eagerly awaiting loving homes where they can be cherished. Pixie is a shy girl who will need a patient and loving adopter to help her feel secure. While she warmed up quickly with her foster, she can be easily startled by changes in her surroundings or new environments, like vet visits. She is a loving soul who longs for affection but is still learning to trust humans again, especially with fast movements. Pixie would do well in a home with other small, calm dogs where she can be the leader. She weighs approximately 11 pounds and is estimated to have been born around July 1, 2018.

Ideal Home

Pixie is a flight risk and would not do well in a home with children. She requires a securely fenced yard.

Pixie is shy and fearful of fast movements. She will need a patient adopter to help her build confidence and trust. She can be the boss with other dogs her size or smaller.
